Cleaning Validation Specialist - PMI Bio

My client, an emerging Biopharmaceutical company based in Tennessee, has an exciting opportunity for a remote-based Cleaning Validation consultant.

This is a 90% remote position with limited travel (10%) required to site for no more than the first 2 weeks of the contract. All expense are covered for travel to site (travel, accommodation, and food).

This is a 2-month contract with high likelihood of extension and is paying between $35 and $65 per hour dependent on experience.

My client is an exciting new company within the fast-paced world of biopharmaceuticals and is renowned for their next generation thinking and company culture. They currently require a Cleaning Validation Engineer to assist with the set up and opening operations of a new manufacturing facility.

The cleaning validation specialist's duties Include:

1. Meet with SME to determine cleaning validation needs.
2. Draft and route cleaning procedures for selected equipment and rooms.
3. Develop and validate cleaning procedures for selected equipment rooms.
4. Perform other relevant duties assigned by project manager.
5. Assess current cleaning procedures and processes of facility
6. Develop cleaning procedures for various environments (Filling suite, formulation suite, etc…)
7. Develop cleaning procedures for various equipment for multiple products/clients to prevent cross contamination.
8. Develop cleaning specifications to incorporate into procedures
9. Incorporate single use (disposable) equipment and procedures where cost effective and feasible

Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:

• 5+ years Life Sciences experience preferably within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Biopharmaceutical industries
• 5+ years validation experience
• Proven track record of creating, drafting and delivering Cleaning Validation protocols and procedures
• Strong technical writing skills
• Proven ability to review, edit and approve Validation documents
