Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Chemist with a pharmaceutical company located in Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a high level of productivity in the laboratory setting
Demonstrate mastery of broad range of experimental techniques and methods of data analysis
Learn, understand, and master new chemistry technologies
Demonstrate the ability to resolve key chemistry technology challenges by effectively utilizing available information and technical expertise
Effective writer and communicator of research reports and updates
Demonstrate a high degree of responsibility in maintaining scientific standards, and safe laboratory practices
Collaborate with functional and technical experts to facilitate scientific achievement

Skills and Requirements:

BS or MS in Chemistry
Demonstrated ability to resolve project hurdles by effectively utilizing available information and technical expertise
Demonstrated strong chemistry knowledge
Preferred: 5+ years industry experience, Experience with lab automation or programming, Research experience with transition metal catalyzed organic transformation
