Proclinical are recruiting for an Automation Engineer to join an organisation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Boudry.

Responsibilities:

Handle commissioning & qualification actions such as SAT, IQ, OQ, etc. for projects linked to automation systems.
Partake in a solid culture of business integrity and ethics.
You will serve within both compliance and legal necessities as well as in company regulations.
Cooperate with partners and shareholder, for example: automation, IT, manufacturing and QA to implement day-to-day actions and preserve the systems within a compliant state.
Monitor the actions of suppliers independently.
Offer technical assistance for manufacturing operations.
Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in an automation, io or chemical processing field.
Demonstrable experience working within a pharmaceutical/biotech setting with computerised systems such as automation, IT, etc.
Exhibited experience with automation systems.
Expertise on specific manufacturing systems, such as Serialization software, Building management System, Room Monitoring System, MES, etc.
Know-how of pharma/biotech procedures, utilities and HVAC equipment.
Conscious of industry 4.0 and linked subjects.
Knowledge of IEC 61131, ISA-88 and ISA-95 Standards, as well as of SCADA software and PLC such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, iFix, etc).
Know-how of any other platforms would be beneficial.
Expertise on computer networking and fieldbus.
Knowledge of design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of automation software and related hardware.
Troubleshooting skills to recover system critical functionalities.
Comprehension of electrical and P&ID standards.
Experience with GMAO software and IT Ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Conscious of business and enterprise architecture.
Know-how of GxP/GAMP/Data Integrity practices/ASTM E2500.
Capable of managing various projects simultaneously.
An analytical individual with presentation, facilitation and deliberation abilities.
Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Works well with others.
Works well while under pressure within a multi-cultural setting.
Capable of training others.
Fluency in English with knowledge in French would be advantageous.
A Swiss Electrical Certification would be beneficial.
