Proclinical is seeking an Associate Scientist - RNA Biology for a leading pharmaceutical company located in Boston, MA.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated researcher with a strong desire to design, develop, and execute various assays and experiments, with an eagerness to share their deep knowledge in the field of molecular biology.
The successful candidate will contribute to the experimental design, execution, and data interpretation for various ex vivo and in vitro assays and possess a strong ability to thrive in a collaborative team in a time-sensitive environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Development of novel assays involving RNA and DNA sequencing and quantification
- Nucleic acids extraction and QC by qPCR and automated/non-automated electrophoresis and fragment analysis
- Design and execution of PCR, genotyping, and/or RNA-seq to assist with cell line characterization.
- Use of sterile technique and organization and maintenance of lab space
- Keeping clear data records in ELN
- Presenting and discussing the data to the broader team
- Helping with various lab management needs
Skills and Requirements:
- MS in Biochemistry or related field with 3+ years of relevant lab experience
- Broad experience with nucleic acid biochemistry
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience with molecular biology techniques
- Ability to follow protocols, SOP, safety practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills, strong organizational skills
- Ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.
