Associate Manager, Precision Medicine Operations - Contract - Remote within US
Are you a dedicated individual looking to put your expertise to work fully flexibly in a remote position? Proclinical is seeking an Associate Manager of Precision Medicine Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to support the generation and delivery of quality biomarker samples and data for an oncology portfolio. This role focuses on clinical sample logistics and requires proficiency in computational programming. You will be instrumental in developing tools and dashboards for sample and data tracking, reviewing clinical sample collections, resolving queries, and supporting database lock activities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, Perl, SQL, or MATLAB.
- Familiarity with APIs, database development, and Linux/Unix environments.
- Ability to analyze and plan for sample interdependencies and risks.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in process development and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel knowledge.
The Associate Manager, Precision Medicine Operations' responsibilities will be:
- Develop and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and implement analytical tools.
- Oversee operations related to samples, kits, and data, ensuring integrity for database locks.
- Utilize technical tools and programming languages to clean and process data systematically.
- Aggregate and extract key information from operational reports programmatically.
- Perform data mapping with knowledge of structured data entities and relationships.
- Ensure compliance with informed consent forms for sample handling and tracking.
- Manage sample-related issues with labs, acting as the primary contact for resolution.
- Maintain and review metrics related to clinical study samples and logistics.
- Lead cross-functional study teams and manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee clinical trial biosamples and data monitoring from collection to disposal.
- Anticipate challenges, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks in projects.
- Enhance communication with stakeholders and align functions with group objectives.
- Participate in vendor oversight activities, including issue escalation and performance monitoring.
Compensation:
- $60 to $75 per hour.
