Associate Manager of Medical Affairs - Contract - Forster City, CA
Proclinical is seeking an Associate Manager for Global Medical Affairs.
Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves developing and executing global strategies for products within the LIFE (Liver, Inflammation, Fibrosis, and Established Products) franchise. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to advance medical and scientific initiatives.

- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple activities and prioritize workload.
- Teamwork-oriented with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex issues and study data.
- Experience in public health or Internal Medicine is desirable.
- Ability to develop and present scientific materials such as abstracts, manuscripts, and posters.
- Knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for clinical trials.
- Ability to work independently and manage international time zones.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional weekends.
- Bachelor's degree required; experience in hepatology, infectious diseases, or virology is a plus.
- Preferred experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Research, including Phase IIIb and IV studies.
The Associate Manager of Medical Affairs' responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute global strategic activities for LIFE products.
- Collaborate with various teams including Medical Affairs, Scientific Publications, Marketing, and Clinical Research.
- Prepare presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
- Serve as an information resource and trainer for colleagues.
- Support data generation activities, including reviewing study proposals and managing the HBV Phase IV portfolio.
- Review abstracts and manuscripts from the phase IV program.
- Provide medical and scientific coverage at key scientific meetings.
- Oversee the review of promotional materials.
- Support project leads in executing and tracking their projects.
- Participate in Global Publications and Scientific Message Platform committees.
- Other activities as assigned to support LIFE Medical Affairs.
Compensation:
- $40 to $53 per hour
