At Proclinical, we are seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Associate Scientist - Bioinformatics, based in Foster City, CA.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot bioinformatics analysis workflow.
Perform analysis of gene expression data obtained from RNASeq, microarray, or NanoString platform.
Mine scientific literatures and public genomic database.
Curate of gene signatures and pathways.
Other bioinformatics analysis in support of research projects as assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

Advanced degree in a closely related field and prior experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
General knowledge of statistical analysis.
Programming skills such as R, Perl, or Python.
Experience with open-source bioinformatics tools such as TCGA.
Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
