Proclinical is currently recruiting for an Antibody Discovery Investigator for a leading biopharmaceutical company located in Shanghai. As the Antibody Discovery Investigator, you will be expected to be familiar with antibody discovery technologies, including but not limited to antibody generation from hybridoma, phage display, yeast display, nanobody platform, to expedite the process and deliver high quality lead molecules.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead a group of scientists in antibody discovery to discover high quality therapeutic biologics.
Identify and implement new technologies/platforms to improve the quality and speed of antibody discovery process to meet department and company goals
Streamline workflow of antibody discovery platforms to expedite process and deliver high quality lead molecules.
Build strong working relationships with fellow company colleagues, key external advisors and collaborators
Lead discovery projects and collaborate with biology project leaders closely to progress respective pipelines.
Accomplish goals within project team timelines

Skills and Requirements:

D. degree in molecular/cell biology, antibody discovery on hybridoma/nanobody/phage display/yeast display platforms, or related fields.
Strong expertise at antibody generation, antibody screening, antibody characterization for developability analysis.
Experience in leading a team is desired.
Excellent skills in problems solving, proficient in communication in English and English writing.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary biologics' discovery team. Ability to work in collaborative environment and contribute to team projects.
Strong background of tumor biology is preferred.
