A large pharmaceutical company in London is looking for a talented Visualisation lead the R&D team. You will be taking the business beyond and building connections with business partners internally and externally. This is a home-based role, with an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the world of medicine.

Job Responsibilities

  • Establishing processes to manage visualization best practices, trainings, templates and their associated processes
  • Developing and implementing trainings for different levels of in-house business partners from visualization developers to consumers of visualization
  • Driving the transformation of the organization, leading the network of visual analysts and the wider visualization community
  • Using external networks and communities to identify novel visualization techniques and knowledge ensuring the company's practice is current
  • Applying visualization principles and expertise in driving forward visualization and transformational projects
  • Cross-functional leadership activities such as networking, coaching, communication, and influencing stakeholders to drive change across the business
  • Identifying, documenting and sharing best practices regarding visualizations
  • Developing, implementing and training on effective processes supporting visualizations including specifications and review of data visualizations
  • Identifying needs for training on tools and visualization design aspects and data storytelling
  • Collaborating with IT and other business partners to identify, test, and deploy new visualization solutions

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree
  • Applied knowledge of design principles for data visualization, data storytelling techniques
  • Strong communication skills and presenting capabilities
  • Experience in driving change management initiatives
  • Strong experience using visualization tools including e.g. QLIK, Spotfire, R packages and Excel
  • Desired experience working as a statistician or statistical analyst
  • Desired relevant industry experience within a pharmaceutical setting
