A large pharmaceutical company in London is looking for a talented Visualisation lead the R&D team. You will be taking the business beyond and building connections with business partners internally and externally. This is a home-based role, with an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the world of medicine.

Job Responsibilities

Establishing processes to manage visualization best practices, trainings, templates and their associated processes
Developing and implementing trainings for different levels of in-house business partners from visualization developers to consumers of visualization
Driving the transformation of the organization, leading the network of visual analysts and the wider visualization community
Using external networks and communities to identify novel visualization techniques and knowledge ensuring the company's practice is current
Applying visualization principles and expertise in driving forward visualization and transformational projects
Cross-functional leadership activities such as networking, coaching, communication, and influencing stakeholders to drive change across the business
Identifying, documenting and sharing best practices regarding visualizations
Developing, implementing and training on effective processes supporting visualizations including specifications and review of data visualizations
Identifying needs for training on tools and visualization design aspects and data storytelling
Collaborating with IT and other business partners to identify, test, and deploy new visualization solutions

Skills and Requirements

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree
Applied knowledge of design principles for data visualization, data storytelling techniques
Strong communication skills and presenting capabilities
Experience in driving change management initiatives
Strong experience using visualization tools including e.g. QLIK, Spotfire, R packages and Excel
Desired experience working as a statistician or statistical analyst
Desired relevant industry experience within a pharmaceutical setting
