Proclinical is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team in the Neurology sector. In this role, you will engage with healthcare professionals and thought leaders to provide scientific and clinical insights, ensuring the safe and effective use of therapies. This position focuses on fostering meaningful scientific dialogue, supporting medical strategies, and contributing to clinical trial activities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and thought leaders to address scientific and clinical inquiries.
- Present accurate and balanced medical information through various channels, including group presentations and remote interactions.
- Stay updated on treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape to address customer needs effectively.
- Gather and share valuable medical insights to support strategic development.
- Develop and execute territory-specific medical plans and thought leader interaction strategies.
- Contribute to cross-functional account planning and deliver scientifically relevant medical programs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Provide scientific training and updates to internal teams, including commercial, regulatory, and market access stakeholders.
- Support internal programs such as risk management and patient access initiatives.
- Assist in clinical trial activities, including site identification, patient recruitment, and investigator support.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance procedures and report any adverse events appropriately.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., MBBS, MPharm, PhD, or MSc).
- Background in psychiatry or mental health is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively.
- Experience in engaging with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in understanding and applying health economics and outcomes research data.
