Proclinical is seeking a Training Specialist to support the implementation of glucose and ketone meter solutions across healthcare settings in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde region. This field-based role focuses on delivering high-quality operator training, supporting clinical teams during implementation, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The position requires close collaboration with clinical stakeholders, point-of-care testing (POCT) teams, and project personnel to deliver effective training programs that align with governance, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face and remote operator training across multiple sites.
- Support implementation and rollout activities for diagnostic systems.
- Provide ongoing guidance and troubleshooting for clinical users post-go-live.
- Coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct competency assessments and facilitate user sign-off processes.
- Build strong relationships with ward teams, POCT teams, and stakeholders.
- Ensure training activities comply with governance and safety standards.
- Support change management and user adoption in diverse clinical environments.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience delivering healthcare or diagnostic training.
- Proven track record in implementation or rollout within healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with digital training tools and systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Must live in or near Glasgow.
Desirable:
- Experience in Point of Care Testing (POCT).
- Familiarity with Diagnostics solutions.
- Background in NHS hospital or community healthcare settings.
- Nursing, biomedical science, or healthcare training experience.
