Proclinical is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist located in San Diego, CA with a biopharmaceutical company. In this position, you will be responsible for all global shipments of commercial and non-commercial materials; managing global inventory levels, import and export compliance, duty and VAT implications and reclaims, broker and transportation management.

Job Responsibility:

Process all shipment requests ensuring appropriate import and export documentations
Manage and track shipments of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), Drug Product (DP), Commercial product and R&D sample materials
Ensures on time delivery of goods and services
Manage transportation and broker transactions
Identify and file for monthly VAT reclaims
Manage inventory levels of APIs and maintain safety stock
Process Purchase Orders ensuring appropriate legal approval and following Procure to Pay (P2P) process
Assist current and future initiatives

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in related Life Sciences or Business discipline. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in supply chain and/or procurement.
Experience in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry preferred.
