Supply and Demand Planning Analyst - Contract - Fort Worth, TX

Proclinical is seeking a Supply and Demand Planning Analyst for a contract role based in the US. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring accurate demand forecasting and inventory management for consumer accounts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, analyze sales data, and drive improvements in supply chain processes.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in sales and operations planning, supply and demand planning, new product forecasting, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of how planning processes impact operations.
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and replenishment models; experience with statistical forecasting systems is a plus.
- Background in the CPG, retail, or pharmaceutical industries is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and retail math/statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office and excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates high personal integrity, teamwork, and a customer-focused mindset.
The Supply and Demand Planning Analyst's responsibilities will be:
- Develop and maintain the Consensus Demand Plan for assigned consumer accounts using customer sales, inventory data, promotional information, and distribution assumptions.
- Collaborate with sales teams monthly to align forecasts and present updates during Demand Review meetings.
- Analyze retailer POS and customer sales data to identify unplanned activities and implement corrective actions to minimize deviations from the demand plan.
- Partner with collaborative accounts and brokers to evaluate inventory levels, address concerns, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Coordinate projects such as new product launches and lifecycle changes across multiple departments, including Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain.
- Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing past performance, tracking errors, and maintaining a learning log.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, bias, vendor/customer performance, and stock levels, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate in the company's SOP process and ensure data integrity through validation and cleansing processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
