An internationally renowned pharmaceutical company is currently advertising a Quality Engineer, Validation Consultant to their office in Switzerland. This top 10 pharma company works across multiple sectors, including medical devices, pharmaceutical research, and consumer health. The vacancy offers an exciting opportunity to work with a company with over 100,000 professionals around the globe.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Global team (11 people) and Direct Material Suppliers performance (around 2000).
  • Train, Manage and Lead the Quality Engineering team and SME.
  • Ensure the appropriate resources are in place.
  • Manage the performance of the contractor and ensure the work
  • Identify and provide solutions to contractor to fix potential road blocks.
  • Collaborate with appropriate Johnson and Johnson team(s) to understand updated internal Johnson and Johnson processes related to Direct Material and translate them into actionable tasks for contractors.
  • Identify and Provide solution to contractors to fix potential road blocks, including Supplier reliability issues management.
  • Manage escalation and governance process.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree (BA/BS) is required.
  • A focused degree in natural sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry), Law, Business studies, Engineering or similar is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic and/or Food and Dietary Supplements Industry is required, preferably in a Direct Material Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Quality Systems or Quality Control related role.
  • Experience in a people leader role is needed.
  • Experience with project management experience is required for management of governance, Project financials and Supplier reliability issues.
  • Proven experience working with Senior Leadership is required for implementation of new reporting structure / KPI development / stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
