Sr Manager, Warehouse - Contract - Bloomington, IN
Proclinical is seeking a Sr Manager, Warehouse for a contract role in Bloomington, IN. This role focuses on driving the creation and revision of policies and procedures to ensure world-class delivery to customers, both internal and external.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate requires a proactive approach to improving quality and cost, developing employee competencies, and managing supply chain strategies.
Skills & Requirements:
- Ability to work in an open office environment with potential distractions.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Strong knowledge of MRP and planning systems (e.g., Pas-X, SAP).
- Experience in supply chain strategy development and implementation.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer satisfaction focus.
- Knowledge of cGMP standards and procedures.
- Budget management experience.
The Sr Manager, Warehouse's responsibilities will be:
- Create and revise policies and procedures to ensure high-quality delivery to customers.
- Develop and support an innovative team mindset to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide expert support for all site users of MRP and planning systems (e.g., Pas-X, SAP).
- Offer expert knowledge of systems and logistics processes as a member of the management team.
- Collaborate with the Business Support team to develop supply chain strategies and drive related initiatives.
- Coach and mentor direct reports.
- Manage supplier processes, including handling internal complaints.
- Oversee procurement for manufacturing processes.
- Develop strategies to address challenges related to demand, capacity, inventories, and utilization.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and alignment of expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder management to align site strategies with customer demand.
- Support product transfers, new product entries, and product launches.
- Lead the application of production systems across all areas of responsibility.
- Maintain and enforce department procedures according to cGMP standards.
- Implement and maintain training and development strategies within warehouse teams.
- Continuously improve supply chain work processes.
- Prepare and drive the implementation of annual strategic warehouse improvement plans.
- Manage site material flow from receiving to release, including offsite warehouses.
- Ensure continuous improvement of customer satisfaction through feedback and collaboration.
- Manage internal and external inventory to ensure timely production delivery.
- Develop and manage the operational budget for warehouse and logistics operations.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental requirements.
