Proclinical is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate for a leading biotechnology company located in New York, New Jersey and Florida. This is a contract position, however if all goes well after 6 months, they will consider converting to permanent. Or, if you prefer to remain a contractor, they would extend.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and support the activities at the clinical trial sites to recruit and enroll study participants
Ensure data quality and follow up with site coordinator on the data input of the clinical data capture into electronic data systems
Manage the communications with the site staff on patient recruitment activities and coordinate patient visits and procedures related to clinical research
Act as resource for study sites and participants by answering questions and explaining related procedures
Ensure the study site is compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations
Monitor study sites and activities to ensure the appropriate industry protocols and terms of the study are being followed
Participate in the hiring and training of staff members who are working on the study both on ICH GCP and on protocol related materials
Create thorough documentation of study protocol and update it as needed

Skills and Requirements:

BA/BS degree in healthcare, nursing, and life science based field with at least 5+ years of prior clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry
Must possess superior analytical and creative thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to keep detailed, accurate records
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
Advanced organizational and planning skills
