Proclinical are recruiting a Scientist/Senior Scientist/Principal Scientist for a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Boston. The client is focused on developing the best remedies possible to help improve the lives of many across various illnesses.

Responsibilities:

Uphold good communication and cooperate with cross-functional associates for successful implementation/accomplishment of project.
Design and implement experiments linked to development, scale-up and characterisation of cell culture procedures self-sufficiently.
To optimise scale-up procedures, you will implement engineering protocols.
The ideal candidate will stay present on organisation trends by literature review, courses, conferences and technical meetings.
Conduct data analysis on the conducted and connected actions, as well as plan technical documents, SOPs, and presentations both internally and externally.
Support the development actions at CDMO and assist technology transfer efforts which involves knowledge transfer, scale up, facility gap analysis, etc.
You will recognise, assess and execute new technologies for consistent platform development.
Guarantee efficiency, high-quality, and suitable documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks in a timely manner.
Monitor or guide junior personnel in their day-to-day actions.

Skills & Requirements:

Educated to an advanced degree level in a chemical engineering, biochemical engineering, biochemistry or similar discipline with at least up to 10 years of pertinent experience or educated to a degree level with at least 8-14 years of pertinent experience.
Capable of guiding a scientific project and handling analysing and comprehending multifaceted experimental data.
Practical familiarity/knowledge on cell culture, aseptic practices, and bioreactor operations, for example: high-throughput, bench-top, and pilot.
Previous involvement with viral vector production, statistical software, technology transfer to CDMO/manufacturing facility, and process characterisation experience would be advantageous.
Presentation and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Able to think technically and analytically.
A proactive outlook who is also flexible and professional.
Able to work independently and well in a team environment.
