Senior Scientist, Translational Medicine - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Primary Responsibilities:

This position focuses on biomarker discovery and clinical assay development within the allergy and immunology field. You will play a crucial role in advancing our pipeline by developing integrated biomarker strategies using cutting-edge technologies. Your expertise in immunology and data analysis will be essential in contributing to various stages of discovery and development programs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related discipline with a focus on allergy and/or immunology.
  • Experience in biopharmaceutical research, particularly in translational and clinical research.
  • Expertise in Allergy, Asthma, Anaphylaxis, or related diseases.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with GxP environments and quality-focused work.
  • Proficiency in molecular and cellular assay development and data analysis.
  • Experience with multiplex IHC/IF and cytokine assays.
  • Knowledge of PK/PD/efficacy relationships and analytical software tools.

The Senior Scientist's responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and implement translational and biomarker plans for allergy and immunology programs.
  • Ensure alignment of biomarker plans with strategic program needs.
  • Design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and manage data storage.
  • Oversee external biomarker analysis, including budgeting and quality oversight.
  • Represent Translational Medicine in project teams and contribute to scientific discussions.
  • Assist in developing clinical protocols and regulatory submissions.
  • Present scientific results to stakeholders and collaborate across internal functions.
  • Communicate strategies, timelines, and risks effectively to team members.
  • Evaluate new technologies and collaborate with external partners for exploratory biomarkers.
  • Regularly present research findings to project teams.

Compensation:

  • $125 to $130 per hour.
