Senior Scientist - Contract - Wilmington, DE

Proclinical is seeking a Senior Scientist specializing in Immunology to join a preclinical research team in the US. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of early-stage therapeutics aimed at addressing inflammatory diseases.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with a high-performing team to advance discovery programs.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PhD) in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques such as RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and sterile cell culture.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to scientific rigor and impactful research.
  • Preferred experience with in vivo disease models (rodents), human immunology (innate and adaptive), or prior industry experience.
  • Familiarity with multiplex protein or RNA-based technologies and multi-color flow cytometry is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a culture of scientific curiosity and collaboration.

The Senior Scientist's responsibilities will be:

  • Design and execute biologically relevant assays to investigate mechanisms of inflammatory diseases.
  • Apply scientific expertise to support and drive research initiatives.
  • Analyze, interpret, and present complex data sets to inform program decisions.
  • Perform cellular and molecular biology techniques, including RT-PCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and sterile cell culture.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results.
  • Communicate findings effectively to team members and leadership.
  • Collaborate within a team while developing as an independent contributor.
  • Contribute to in vivo studies as needed.
