Senior/Principal Statistician - Permanent - Massachusetts, USA
Proclinical is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistician with a strong foundation in statistics and experience in clinical trials.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our clinical development efforts, focusing on leading statistical aspects from trial design to analysis, and ensuring high-quality data delivery for our programs.
Skills & Requirements:
- Advanced degree in statistics or a related field.
- Expertise in statistical analysis within clinical trials, with oncology experience being advantageous.
- Familiarity with international standards and clinical study regulations.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS and R.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex statistical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Senior/Principal Statistician's responsibilities will be:
- Lead statistical activities for clinical trials, ensuring robust methodologies and alignment with scientific goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on study design elements such as sample size, randomization, and endpoint selection.
- Develop and oversee Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with study objectives.
- Manage CRO deliverables, ensuring the accuracy and quality of statistical outputs.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the clinical department and with external vendors.
- Provide comprehensive statistical support across all phases of clinical trial development.
