Senior Platform Engineer - Permanent - Burlingame, CA

Proclinical is on the lookout for a Senior Platform Engineer to join an AI-focused biotech team. This is a permanent position located in Burlingame, CA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in leading the optimization and continuous improvement of the company's infrastructure. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and making a significant impact.

Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in creating and maintaining infrastructure at scale, preferably on AWS or Google Cloud
Strong skills in Python, Bash, and Terraform
Experience in leading a team working on high-impact infrastructure projects

The Senior Platform Engineer will:

Enhance our job scheduling and workflow management system, which is written in Python on top of Kubernetes
Refine scripts and procedures for testing, monitoring, and deployment automation
Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and computational chemists to optimize infrastructure for both research throughput and production robustness

Compensation:

$180,000 per annum
