Proclinical are seeking a Senior Medicinal Chemist to join an innovative biopharma company in Boston on a permanent basis. As a Medicinal Chemist and Chemical Toxicologist, you will operate at the interface between medicinal chemistry design and drug safety, working alongside project teams.

Responsibilities:

Initiate novelty in both projects on an internal basis and on cooperation on an external basis by recognising and integrating organisation leading scientific advances.
The ideal candidate will offer early risk assessments to assist in the safety hypothesis and enable the arrangement of suitable safety screening forces to contextualise hazards.
Develop your personal and company's reputation by peer-reviews scientific publications and oral or poster presentations.
To guarantee that safety deliberations are fixed into series selection and multifarious design verdicts, you will form connections with the project chemistry teams.
To warrant an effective design and selection of safe compounds, you will collaborate with discovery safety scientists, project toxicologists and medicinal chemists.

Skills & Requirements:

Familiarity in a medicinal chemist role either in a pharmaceutical or biotech establishment.
Displayed capabilities of compound design, resolving issues and efficacious delivery in a medicinal chemist role.
Educated to an advanced degree level in an organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry or similar discipline.
Know-how of common compound-linked safety hazards facing projects and their possible solutions.
To guarantee competitiveness, consciousness of the latest developments in the field by reviewing present literature, scientific contacts and meetings.
Comprehension of the broader chemical sciences, how these cooperate with one another and their qualified participations in efficacious project delivery.
High capacity to lead, inspire, manage partnerships and work well in a team environment.
Able to serve as a delegate in the subject area through communicating and influencing or guiding cross-discipline project teams.
