Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and strategic Health Economics and Reimbursement Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the UK&I Health Economics and Reimbursement team, developing optimal strategies for medicine access and reimbursement, and engaging with senior stakeholders. This role requires a high level of competency in data insights and analytics, and the ability to develop innovative solutions to overcome access barriers and optimize patient access to products.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute National Access strategies for the UK and Ireland.

- Engage with senior stakeholders to define critical policy influences and develop reimbursement body engagement plans.

- Identify and share relevant insights to shape policy development and anticipate future trends.

- Partner with Global HEOR and local agencies to deliver global value resources.

- Develop and implement innovative solutions to overcome access barriers and optimize patient access to products.

- Represent UK and Ireland on Global Access Teams to support optimal approach to in country launch preparation.

- Provide strategic leadership to the Health Economics and Reimbursement team.

Key Skills and Requirements:

- Excellent technical skills in evidence synthesis, health economics, and critical appraisal.

- Strong understanding of the payer environment in the UK & Ireland, including reimbursement, pricing, contracting, value drivers, and HTA policy.

- Leadership skills with the ability to shape strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and engage with senior leaders.

- Degree in Health Economics or related discipline.

- Experience in leading and delivering HTAs across UK/Ireland.

- Strong understanding of strategic pricing and contracting, including innovative approaches such as risk-sharing deals.

- Ability to review clinical and health economic literature and understand implications for payers.

- Strong strategic thinking skills and a track record of successful engagement with external stakeholders and influencing policy change.
