Senior Manager, Biostatistics - Permanent - Pasadena or San Diego, California

Proclinical is seeking a Biostatistics Expert to provide strategic and operational input in study and program design. This is a permanent position based fully on-site in Pasadena or San Diego, California.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring the statistical integrity of all key deliverables. This role is crucial in maintaining scientifically sound study design and data analysis methodologies in line with regulatory guidance and industry standards.

Skills & Requirements:

• PhD in Biostatistics or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with various stages of the clinical development lifecycle.
• Experience in interacting with and overseeing biometrics services provided by CRO vendors.
• Proficiency with statistical software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical clinical development processes.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the roles and functions of cross-functional departments within a drug development company.

The Senior Manager for Biostatistics responsibilities will be:

• Provide expert statistical and operational input for study and program design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer strategic biostatistics input.
• Ensure scientifically sound study design and data analysis methodologies.
• Work closely with programming and data management teams for accurate data collection and reporting.
• Lead the evaluation of alternative or innovative study design and analysis methods.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental standards, applications, processes, and training.
• Oversee statistical and programming deliverables provided by CROs.
• Assist in selecting consultants and service providers.

Compensation:

• $130,000 - $180,000 annually
