Senior Biostatistician Contractor - Contract - Remote

Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Senior Biostatistician Contractor to join a cutting-edge consulting and tech firm. This is a contract role with the opportunity to work remotely.

Skills & Requirements:

• PhD in statistics or biostatistics with in-depth knowledge of multivariable models and survival analyses (will also consider MS with 7+ years of biostats work experience)
• At least 5 years' experience working as statistician in life science
• Knowledge of Mixed Models, Survival Analytics, Proportional Hazard Models, and Propensity Modeling
• Experience with Real World Data, Medical Claims Data, Clinical Trial Data, and Electronic Medical Records
• Experience in writing statistical analysis plans, writing and revieing study reports, overseeing analysis data, and propensity scoring
• In depth experience with statistical methods for analyzing of clinical trial and health-related data as well as retrospective databases
• In-depth knowledge of SAS is essential
• Experience with observational data and/or registries is essential
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics, machine learning, predictive modeling and clinical trial data design/analysis would be a plus
• Must have pharma industry working experience
• Experience in Project managing and client facing interactions is a plus
• Effective oral and written communication skills that enable personal impact with senior-level decision makers
• Client service orientation
• EST or CST Based applicants preferred

The Senior Biostatistician Contractor will:

• Responsible for guiding statistical analysis plans, programming, and data quality checks to project junior team members generating and reporting real-world evidence about disease, health service utilization and the effects of medical products through the analysis of healthcare data;
• Lead and guide statistical discussions directly interfacing with project teams and client teams;
• Work independently to lead statistical aspects of projects with quality reviews by RWE analytics lead; and
• Contribute to the preparation of study plans, reviewing study materials, developing statistical analysis plans, and assist with the interpretation and dissemination of findings.

Compensation:

$75 - $85 per hour
