A global life sciences company is seeking a Scientist to join its research team. This position offers the chance to contribute to innovative scientific programmes within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will contribute to innovative research efforts by designing and conducting in vivo studies, processing biological samples, and performing advanced cell-based assays
Skills & Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in handling and caring for mice, including blood and tissue sample collection and processing.
- Proficiency in techniques such as tissue culture, primary cell handling, cell-based assays, ELISA, multiplex assays (MSD/Luminex), and flow cytometry.
- Familiarity with software tools like FlowJo, Omiq, Microsoft Office, MacOS, and GraphPad Prism.
- Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- A BS or MS degree with relevant experience in industry or academia.
The Scientist's responsibilities will be:
- Design, plan, and execute in vivo studies using models of gut inflammation.
- Process organs for immune cell isolation and analysis.
- Maintain, expand, and modulate cells, evaluating them through in vitro assays.
- Analyze data using biological and statistical software.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive research initiatives.
- Document experimental procedures and results comprehensively.
