Step into a leadership role where you will guide and influence safety monitoring teams. You'll be at the forefront of methodological and statistical analyses for safety data, impacting pooled clinical trial data across various projects. Your expertise will be pivotal as you act as a statistical consultant within the company, ensuring the highest standards in safety analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and Innovate: Drive safety signal detection, validation, characterization, and reporting for multiple projects with minimal oversight. Your leadership will shape the statistical support and scientific direction for clinical trial safety data.
- Ensure Excellence: Be accountable for the quality, relevance, and scientific validity of all safety statistical deliverables, ensuring they meet the standards of regulatory authorities and medical journals.
- Collaborate and Mentor: Foster teamwork by planning and tracking project activities related to safety, timelines, and resource use. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring productive collaborations within the safety monitoring team and with other project leaders.
- Represent and Optimize: Represent the statistics team in scientific or technology working groups and cross-functional initiatives. Contribute to operational process optimization, driving continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Qualifications: PhD/MS in statistics or a related discipline.
- Experience: Extensive experience in clinical development or post-marketing activities, including submissions and interactions with regulatory agencies. Experience in safety signal detection is highly desired.
- Languages: Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
