Proclinical seeking an RNA Computational Biologist for a leading biotech company located in Boston, MA. This role has the opportunity to work remotely.
The ideal computational biologist candidate has a Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or related field, and a strong background in RNA biology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computational methods to optimize mRNA packaging into VLPs
- Perform 3D RNA structural modeling to understand mRNA-VLP interactions
- Analyze and interpret data generated from experiments
- Collaborate with experimentalists to design and execute experiments
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in RNA biology and computational biology
Skills and Requirements:
- PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Strong experience in RNA biology
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and MATLAB
- Experience with structural biology software such as Rosetta, NAMD, or GROMACS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
