RIMS Technical Consultant - Full Remote

Proclinical is currently supporting a Global Information Management services provider based in Germany as they recruit an RIMS Technical Consultant - Germany (Remote) to join their global team.

The ideal candidate has a strong background as a Technical consultant with working experience in technical implementation projects in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences markets (GAMP 5) and knowledge of regulatory affairs or pharmacovigilance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions based on the company portfolio and integrate them into customer environments.
• Configure and extend solutions according to customer needs
• Develop data migration approaches and execution.
• Provide technical and system architecture consulting to customers.
• Support technical customer projects globally.
• Develop and maintain project and system design documentation.
• Update of on-prem and SaaS systems
• Learn with each project and share your knowledge within your team.
• Support pre-sales activities.
• Work closely with Sales, Development and Support teams to provide the best solution for your customers.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• A degree in computer sciences or a comparable qualification
• Demonstrated practical project experience in the field of technical consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of Document Management Systems.
• Good ability to understand client needs and to communicate solutions target oriented.
• Experience with complex software solutions consisting of several building blocks (e.g. application servers, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, MS SQL Server, Redis) running on Windows and Linux
• Scripting experience in JavaScript or other scripting languages (e.g. Python). Experience in Java is a plus.
• Experience in system integration and corresponding interfaces (REST API)
• Experience with data migrations
• Good understanding of IT architectures and core processes (e.g. High Availability, Backup&Restore), Databases and Elasticsearch
• You have excellent English skills (spoken and written)
