Research Project Manager - Permanent - Philadelphia, PA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Research Project Manager to support the operation of the Ovarian Cancer Research Center Tumor BioTrust Collection. This is a permanent position located in Philadelphia, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both clinical and non-clinical research environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for participant recruitment, biospecimen collection, processing, storage, retrieval, disbursement, shipment, and database/inventory management. They will also support multi-site research studies and liaise with various clinical and research teams.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with a background in research and clinical study methodologies.
Experience with Redcap, LabVantage, and human biospecimen banking.
Strong computational skills and proficiency with computer-based systems including Word, Excel, Redcap, and other online database programs.
Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills.

The Research Project Manager will:

Collect and process specimens in compliance with relevant protocols.
Identify study participants and obtain consent for biospecimen banking and program participation.
Maintain and update the inventory management system, tracking the distribution of processed specimens.
Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring strict adherence to these procedures.
Monitor and maintain all laboratory equipment and lab space, keeping track of study supplies and reagents.
Perform additional processing of samples specific for various research studies and projects as needed.
