An exciting Project Manager role has become available for a talented and experienced individual. The Oxford based role is critical for the overall management to ensure the quality of medical projects being delivered.
Job Responsibilities
- Management of one or more projects with a focus on delivery of the scope on time, within budget and with a high-quality outcome
- Compile and maintain project-specific plans tailored to each study to drive efficient implementation including, but not limited to, project Gantt, detailed risk management plan with identification of timely mitigation strategies, communications plan
- Monitor project scope, timelines and milestones, issues and risks for one or more projects Monitor project financials, budget tracking and accuracy of invoicing
- Track key problems / issues and work with the other team members to ensure timely resolution
- Apply appropriate levels of governance, hold project team and partners to account, and escalate critical issues to Senior Management Team as needed
- Create and maintain accurate study documentation and reports
- Capture minutes/action items during Client and internal status meetings
- Deliver the project successfully, ensuring that all study deliverables are tracked Author and/or review company SOPs and guidelines as required
- Personnel management and mentorship of Junior Project Manager
- Provide pro-active communication with all stakeholders
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's (and/or higher) degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific field
- Project Management experience essential; minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Project Manager required
- Strong understanding of clinical research (pharma, device and/or biotech sectors) or healthcare sectors, and of clinical research and/or healthcare SaaS technology
- Proven track record of project management expertise
- Ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
- Experience in using key programs including MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Proactive contribution to PPL by being a versatile and flexible team player
