Proclinical are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for guaranteeing that own work conforms to the GMP, Data Integrity and GDP and is assumed rendering to appropriate processes.
  • You will develop and handle solid relationships across teams to remove obstacles or time lags while conducting efficiently within own working teams to accomplish favourable results for the business.
  • Support the recognition and execution of technology based and work practice solutions designed to reduce waste and general cost.
  • Assist with process technical transfer actions, which involves Design of Experiments, Single-Use items specifications development for manufacturing use and ongoing Process FMEA actions.
  • Arrange vendor actions for commissioning & qualification, maintenance & calibration and/or process improvements.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Educated to a degree level in a connected engineering or scientific field.
  • Demonstrable experience working within a biopharmaceutical setting in a process engineering position.
  • Know-how on cleanroom working.
  • Expertise on biopharmaceutical process operations, which involves Media & Buffer prep, Upstream & Downstream such as Single-Use Bioreactors, Centrifuges, UF/DF, TFF, etc.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Acquaintance working in a start-up company would be ideal.
  • Previous involvement with fill finish operations is preferable.
  • A background in a variety of biopharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing procedures.
  • Experience with computerised equipment systems and the principles of data integrity, this involves assessment and verification for new and present equipment.
  • Familiarity with the needs of commissioning and qualification of process equipment and utilities items.
  • Able to resolve issues.
  • Leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate self and others.
  • An organised individual who is able to present self in a professional manner.
  • An innovative individual with communication skills both verbally and in writing.
