Proclinical are recruiting a Principal Statistical Programmer for a pharmaceutical corporation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Barcelona. The client is focused on transforming the lives of those who suffer from rare illnesses.

Responsibilities:

Offer leadership and training to peer and junior-level programmers.
Serve as the main point of contact for the division when required to guarantee that division standards are executes in all studies.
Provide notions and concepts towards the optimisation of SOPs.
Develop and validate programs that create efficient tables, listings, figures/graphs using the company's specifications.
Monitor/handle external vendors and contract programmers.
You will review, uphold, and approve protocol specific documents when needed.
Other duties may be assigned to this role.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to a degree level in biostatistics, statistics or any other similar field.
At least 7 years of experience in statistical programming within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or contract research industry.
Able to resolve issues.
Works well both independently and in a team.
Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of using SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, SAS/STAT.
Expertise on SAS/Graph, and SAS/SQL.
