Power BI Developer - Bern, Switzerland - Permanent

Proclinical is seeking a Power BI Developer who is passionate about data and analytics. This is a permanent position located in Bern, Switzerland.

Primary Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing reporting, dashboards, and other business intelligence solutions. This role will also involve translating business needs into robust and scalable technical solutions, and contributing to the shaping of the Business Intelligence landscape. The Power BI Developer will also provide training and assistance to internal business customers on the professional use and adoption of Power BI.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business informatics or equivalent education in the IT field
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Data Analyst
Proficiency in developing on Power BI ecosystem such Power BI Service and DAX
Strong programming skills in SQL and good understanding of different modelling techniques (e.g. Data Vault, dimensional)
Strong analytical and conceptional skills for translating data into informative visuals and reports
Proficiency in German or French and good English skills

The Power BI Developer will:

Develop, maintain and manage reporting, dashboards and other BI solutions using Power BI
Understand and translate business needs and requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions
Design and develop appropriate data models meeting business requirements and optimizing scalability and performance
Contribute with architects and engineers in shaping the Business Intelligence landscape and its capabilities towards a self-service BI
Provide training and assistance to internal business customers on the professional use and adoption of Power BI
