Postdoc (Head and Neck) - Contract - Philadelphia, PA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Postdoctoral researcher.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is to work at the intersection of cancer biology, immunology and molecular epidemiology for HPV-related head and neck cancer. This role offers the opportunity to join an interdisciplinary mentorship team and lead projects designed to have a high clinical impact.

Skills & Requirements:

Background in cancer biology, immunology, virology, cellular metabolism, stem cell biology and genetics.
Advanced training in data science and bioinformatics is highly desirable.
Ability to work onsite daily, with potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.

The Postdoc's responsibilities will be:

Conduct research on the role of differences in viral and host gene expression and function among HPV+ cancers in determining their divergent therapy responses.
Investigate mechanisms that limit tumor replication stress to promote direct and immune-mediated clearance of HPV+ cancers.
Develop prognostic and predictive molecular biomarkers for HPV-related cancer from comparative multi-omic analyses.
