Platform Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a Platform Engineer to join my client's dynamic development team, you will be developing and modernizing medical/healthcare IT infrastructure. Their mission is to provide both internal and external Kubernetes environments, assisting teams in building and operating their applications within these cluster environments. Additionally, they manage critical services such as Gitlab, container registries, and monitoring solutions based on the Grafana stack. They also create and manage VM images for various use cases. Wherever possible, all these components are implemented as infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and managed using tools such as Ansible, ArgoCD, Crossplane, and more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The construction and operation of a Kubernetes-based multicluster environment
• the automation of build pipelines, deployments, testing and monitoring using container technologies in on-premises data centres.
• Ensuring the availability, stability, security and performance of the container infrastructure is your responsibility
• You offer the in-house software development teams an excellent developer experience

Technical Stack:

• Linux and CLI
• NodeJS, Python and Java
• Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitOps, Ansible, Grafana and Crossplane
• AWS, Azure or GCP

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proficiency in English and German (verbal and written)
