Phlebotomist - Contract - Hagerstown, MD

Proclinical is on the lookout for a Phlebotomist to join a leading toxicology laboratory. This is a contract role located in Hagerstown, MD.

The Phlebotomist will:

Greet and identify patients according to SOP.
Obtain billing and testing information according to SOP.
Review test requisition for proper test collection
Assemble equipment necessary to collect specimen.
Collect specimens for drug testing according to SOP and order of the draw.
Match requisition to collection of tubes for completion.
Centrifuge when necessary.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly maintenance and quality control on test kits and urinalysis equipment.
Prepare and package specimens for shipping to testing location according to SOP.
Perform customer service duties to include phone inquiries and patient encounters.
Collect patient payments according to SOP.
