Proclinical is seeking a dedicated Outsourcing Oversight Manager to join our team. This role is a crucial part of our vendor management group, focusing on outsourced activities within the Safety Surveillance and Aggregate Report (SSA) group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple vendors and their daily activities, as well as supporting SSA process improvements when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with multiple vendors in various roles and capabilities.
  • Assist in developing sourcing strategies for RFPs and defining business requirements for new vendors.
  • Support the review and development of Scopes of Work and facilitate contract execution.
  • Facilitate regular updates and review of the Relationship Manuals for vendors.
  • Oversee vendor activities, including onboarding activities.
  • Create new procedures and tools to improve vendor oversight and SSA processes.
  • Develop training and new processes for streamlined communication between vendors and stakeholders.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators and vendor performance.
  • Participate in vendor workload forecasting and budget maintenance.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
  • Provide support during inspections and audits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and multi-functional teams.
  • Support Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans and associated effectiveness checks.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance and drug development.
  • Basic knowledge or experience with aspects of outsourcing and/or vendor oversight.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and present scientific and medical data.
  • Comfortable with medical terminology and American Medical Association manual of style.
  • Strong skills in editorial, technical, and scientific authoring.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of common data processing software (SharePoint, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Business Objects).
  • Ability to apply scientific judgment to interpret case information.
  • Bachelor's Degree in biologic or natural science; or health care discipline. Advanced degree (PhD, MPH, NP, PharmD, etc.) preferred.
