Proclinical are recruiting for a National Director of MSLs (Germany) to join a biotech organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Munich.

Responsibilities:

Lead analysis of MSL field medical acumens and synthesis of clinical/market trends to notify tactics and educational targets.
Handle performance management process, growth plans and professional development for MSL team.
Form vision and offer active leadership and direction for the MSL team.
Be in line with external expert relationships with the requirements of the functions and pertinent medical initiatives on an ongoing basis.
You will co-develop method and implement a plan for field based scientific assistance of therapeutic area for both marketed and entire portfolio of pipeline products.
Uphold high visibility and open communication to field based MSL team.
The ideal candidate will both quantify and report the MSL team's impact on business objectives and company goals to demonstrate value.
Responsible for continuing to drive evolution of MSL pipeline participations by tactically aligning with development to prioritise MSL involvement with clinical programs, recognise gaps and offer proactive solutions.
Guide and/or assist vendor management if required.
Other duties may be assigned.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Educated to an advanced degree level in a health science from an accredited university.
Demonstrated experience in oncology.
Exhibited experience in a field MSL or MSL managerial role with leadership abilities in a biotech or pharmaceutical organisation.
A flexible individual able to adapt to changing market dynamics and competitive challenges.
Capable to act with a sense of urgency.
An organised individual with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Works well in a team.
Able to think analytically.
Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Able to resolve issues.
Ability to make solid business judgements and influence others.
Capable of handling various tasks simultaneously.
Expertise on personnel management, such as recruitment, hiring, progressive discipline process, training and motivation.
