Proclinical is seeking a Molecular Biologist for a global pharmaceutical company located in Lake County, IL.

Job Responsibility:

Independently design and conduct critical experiments that further project goals.
Implement and may innovate new experimental protocols/techniques.
Understand the goal and maintain a high proficiency in his/her projects as well as the overall program.
Interpret results and draw conclusions from own multistage experiments, note significant deviations, then suggest, design, and pursue relevant experiments.

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in cancer cell biology, biochemistry or a related field with typically 3-5+ years of experience.
Extensive laboratory research experience and a desire to continue in a laboratory-focused role with a high level of experimental vigor and quality.
Broad technical proficiency in standard biochemical, cellular and molecular biology techniques including cell culture, stable cell line generation, western blotting, PCR, etc
