Proclinical is currently partnering with an innovative organisation at the forefront of precision oncology to recruit a Medical Affairs Lead for the UK & Ireland medical strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Affairs professional looking to take ownership of a market, influence strategy and work closely with Commercial, Market Access and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes for cancer patients.

Responsibilities:

Creating and executing the UK & Ireland Medical Affairs strategy.
Building and maintaining relationships with leading Oncology, Surgical and Pathology KOLs.
Leading scientific exchange, medical education initiatives and advisory boards.
Supporting evidence generation, investigator-sponsored research and reimbursement activities.
Delivering medical leadership across promotional review, internal training and cross-functional projects.

Our client is looking for:

An MD, PharmD or PhD.
Proven working years' Medical Affairs experience within pharma, biotech or diagnostics.
A strong oncology background (breast cancer experience would be advantageous, although broader solid tumour experience will also be considered).
Extensive KOL engagement experience and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.
Strong communication skills and experience working within cross-functional matrix organisations.

Location: Hybrid - candidates should be able to travel to London regularly (approximately two days per week).
