Proclinical is seeking a Marketing Manager - Molecular Biology for an established biotechnology company, located in Rockville, MD, that is recognized as one of the world's largest sources of full-length cDNA clones. The company is committed to offering innovative tools to improve new-assay development and in-vitro diagnostic field. The company aims to develop comprehensive, gene-related research tools to help study biological pathways, resulting in a better understanding of disease mechanisms as well as to further academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research.

Job Responsibilities:

Overall development and implementation of a marketing plan to increase market share
Generate cutting-edge marketing tools to promote molecular biologyproduct portfolio, such as web page, data sheet, FAQ, blog, video, webinar, brochure
Use OKR principles to monitor impacts of marketing activities
Develop new products and monitor product launches, including competition, market assessments, and development of sales tools
Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, and IT to track product activities
Annual travel of 3-5 short trips are required
Maintain, upgrade product lines: cDNA clone, CRISPR, RNAi, Transfection reagents, Lentivirus, PCR products

Skills and Requirements:

Master's degree in life science discipline with good knowledge on molecular biology
2-3 years of marketing or equivalent experience in customer facing role with knowledge of marketing tactics and practices
0-5 years of lab experience · Skilled in molecular biology techniques (PCR, CRISPR, cloning, Lentivirus technology)
Ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse team members and support customers
Proficient in the use of Microsoft software
Have strong organizational, self-motivated, and project management skills
