Proclinical is seeking a Marketing Excellence Manager to join a commercial team. This role is pivotal in optimising brand strategy and performance across the portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team and Insight Strategy and Execution (IS&E) team to identify and prioritise key data and insight-driven strategies along the customer journey to support growth. This role is a key part of the commercial XFT team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality strategic input to support decision making and align key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide clear recommendations, data and insights to support priority brand customer journeys and strategy.
  • Identify and quantify clear patient funnels and customer segments to maximize growth for the portfolio.
  • Work with the IS&E team to ensure the UK qualitative and quantitative primary market research needs for priority brands are developed to inform brand planning.
  • Investigate and answer key business questions and work with IS&E to deliver the analytics and insights to support the adaptation of brand strategies and tactics.
  • Support capital allocation and ROI across the portfolio, marketing, and sales mix.
  • Coordinate the brand tracker requirements ensuring they accurately reflect the target audience and priority brand needs.
  • Deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership.
  • Identify potential opportunities and risks with products and develop a mitigation strategy.
  • Act as the key point of contact between brand and IS&E teams to coordinate key projects to support the customer journey and growth opportunities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop key insights and integrate them into plans.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex, technical findings into commentary that facilitates effective decision making by senior leaders.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of business tactics through return on investment analysis.
  • Project management skills with the ability to articulate scope and deliverables of projects and deliver analyses within timelines.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to inspire others to follow them without direct line management responsibilities.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in management of secondary data and familiarity with pharma applicable data.
  • Expertise in the field of customer/omni-channel analytics.
  • Previous demonstrated experience of forecasting revenues.
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
