Manufacturing Technician

Proclinical is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician with a pharmaceutical company located in Kalamazoo, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as a team player with good communication skills while exemplifying good production floor leadership
• Follow all safety procedures
• Good Manufacturing Practice regulations for the United States and other countries
• Ensure equipment & process capability to sustain upstream processing rates
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to achieve the production schedule
• Monitor the freezing processes
• Assist maintenance in equipment troubleshooting
• Perform total productive maintenance/operator care tasks
• Execute in-process quality inspections
• Record entries in batch record
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Develop corrective and preventive actions
• Complete and maintain all required training on time
• Identify and implement process improvements

Skills and Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and significant progress towards Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical, science or engineering field
• Good communication skills across a diverse set of colleagues
• Strong attention to detail
• Associate or bachelor's degree in technical, science or engineering discipline preferred
• Formal training/education in process-based thinking and problem-solving preferred
• Prior pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience preferred
• Training/understanding of basic refrigeration system operation preferred
• 1-2 yrs experience needed (Prefer 2+ yrs experience)
• Pharma + Manufacturing exp needed
• Strong attention to detail to execute and improve GMP processes and documentation required
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of various office applications required
