Proclinical is seeking a Logistics Planner to coordinate logistics requirements with external partners, ensuring a compliant, cost-effective, and efficient delivery process from contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) to warehouses and distribution centers. This role is essential for maintaining audit compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and book shipments from CMOs to various warehouses and distributors.
- Interact with logistics providers and track shipments.
- Perform inbound and outbound transactions in SAP by Design, including intercompany transfers.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Collect and verify quality documents for goods receipt and post receipts in SAP.
- Oversee sample shipments to quality control.
- Follow up on the final release of medicines.
- Execute sales orders and ensure timely processing in SAP.
- Investigate temperature deviation reports and internal complaints.
- Maintain professional relationships with freight forwarders.
- Track all shipments and perform analytics.
- Optimize loads and collections to meet logistics cost targets.
- Create 'Customer Cards' detailing shipping specifics.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in logistics planning, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and ERP/WMS systems.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in GDP and GMP standards.
- Understanding of incoterms.
- Agile thinker with problem-solving abilities.
