Lab Scientist in Biologics Development

Proclinical is seeking a Lab Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on the development of formulations and processes for parenteral dosage forms of biologics. This role involves working with an international team to bring innovative treatments to patients and global markets. The team specializes in pharmaceutical development of liquid and lyophilized formulations, as well as robust manufacturing processes for various novel presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, organise and perform scientific experiments for biologic drug products, processes and procedures.
• Conduct specific analytical tests related to experiments and stability studies.
• Document raw data from experiments, evaluate, interpret, and report results.
• Plan and support the design of subsequent experiments based on results.
• Organize and coordinate shipments of materials related to projects.
• Participate in project sub-team meetings and discussions.
• Review and verify raw data generated by colleagues.
• Support the compilation of scientific protocols, reports, and lab procedures.
• Maintain and qualify tools, instruments, and equipment.
• Develop and optimize laboratory methods and processes.
• Contribute to operational excellence and innovation initiatives.
• Adhere to laboratory standards for quality, ethics, health, safety, environment protection, and information security.
• Foster knowledge exchange and contribute to team objectives.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Qualification as a Lab Scientist or Lab Technician with a focus on Pharmaceutical Technology, or a Master of Science (MSc) in life sciences or pharmaceutical technology.
• Experience in biotech or pharma industry with emphasis on biologics drug product formulation and process development.
• Hands-on experience in drug product formulation development and analytics for biologics.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong skills in MS Office tools and digital lab tools for experiment documentation and data evaluation.
• Basic understanding of statistical data analysis and data presentation.
• Highly structured and organized working style with knowledge of GLP and HSE requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
