Proclinical is currently recruiting for an IT Project Coordinator with a biopharmaceutical company located in North Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Track Project/Program financials and consolidate/reconcile Latest Best Estimates with Finance Team.
  • Consolidation of project status reports and generation of Senior Executive level portfolio status report.
  • Aides in adherence of project management reporting and change control expectations.
  • Handles administration of EA consolidated Portfolio including capturing meeting minutes, action items, issues/risks and decisions and working with area portfolio leads.
  • Analyze and report portfolio data and statistics
  • Tactical management of project data in PPM tool

Skills and Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in project and portfolio management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong problem resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage and effectively prioritize numerous complex transactions and issues
  • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills along with a maniacal attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment.
  • Must have at least 7 years of combined IT Project Management / Portfolio Management /Finance Planning & Analysis experience.
  • Takes initiative, works pro-actively, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines. Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a global team.
  • Must have strong financial and analytical background
  • Ability to effectively interact with resources globally.
  • Strong financial acumen or prior experience with tracking and monitoring project financials
  • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills along with a maniacal attention to detail.
  • Strong Project management experience at a coordinator level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment
