Proclinical is in search for a talented Product Specialist at an international company based on anywhere in Amsterdam and Zurich. This position offers to the right candidate the opportunity to join an international team dedicated to bringing to market an innovative and breakthrough portfolio of in vitro diagnostic genetic tests.

Job Responsibilities

Identify and nurture strong relationships with relevant key decision makers from the transplant and nephrology community
Facilitate, implement and monitor scientific and market development activities with customers (top nephrology and transplant centers, clinical laboratory partners and distributors)
Design and execute appropriate, effective and compliant state-of-the-art scientific (evidence generation, scientific education and communication) and market development activities (demonstrations, seminars, customer engagement activities, etc..), in accordance with local and regional needs and regulations
Drive the company's portfolio market expansion by sourcing, implementing, closing and managing agreements/collaborations/partnerships with relevant transplant centres, public or private clinical labs, genomic centers and clinical laboratory partners and distributors
Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and requirements, ensuring that all activities are conducted providing the most suitable and compliant solution to their needs
Understand the regulatory environment and the reimbursement dynamics of our products and work in tandem with market access, commercial leadership teams and with local partners to pursue coverage accordingly
Work closely with Regional Directors, Local Regional Managers and internal teams to review opportunities and provide proactive, regular reports on progress to goals
Work with regulatory, legal and other internal teams to resolve issues and attain high customer satisfaction
Attend training/educational events as required to ensure skills are maintained up-to-date and relevant for maximum benefit of our customers

Skills and Requirements

The ideal candidate requires a 5-10+ years of experience in a front-facing role either in the pharma, diagnostics or medical device industry in roles encompassing all aspects related to evidence generation, scientific education, communications, market development and commercialization
The role requires a strong business acumen with a proven track record of building robust client relationships at the highest levels, launching and successfully managing scientific activities, market development/commercialization, access and reimbursement activities
MBA, Master's degree or PhD / MD with a background in molecular biology, nephrology/transplant medicine and/or relevant medical education or significant years with relevant industry experience in the field might be considered
Ability to work across cultures, speak relevant foreign languages, and desire for international travel
