HEOR Consultant - Contract - Remote

Proclinical is seeking a remote HEOR Consultant to join an innovative biotech company. This is a contract position with the potential to extend following initial contract.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action, excellent analytical skills, and an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
  • 7+ years of HEOR experience in the pharmaceutical or related industries (e.g., consulting) with Advanced degree in epidemiology, health economics, pharmaceutical sciences, or related discipline (MS, MPH, PharmD, or PhD).
  • Experience managing and working with external research vendor partners.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including in-depth knowledge of COAs and real-world data analysis methodologies (e.g., registries and claims data sources).
  • Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution oriented.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects across a variety of HEOR methodologies.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US.

The HEOR Consultant will:

  • Develop and lead research activities that support clinical outcomes assessment (COA) strategy that have been incorporated into the development program.
  • Provide methodological and analytical expertise regarding the collection, analysis, and interpretation of COA data. These studies should produce high-quality project deliverables to agreed timelines.
  • Work with Medical Science and Value and Access Team (VAT) colleagues to identify appropriate trial endpoints and leverage clinical development programs to capture endpoints relevant to payers, physicians, and patient.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans (e.g., Integrated Evidence Generation Plan), including studies on burden of illness, real-world clinical outcomes, epidemiology, quality of care, and unmet need.
  • Collaborate with the Publication team to integrate HEOR publications for dissemination in appropriate peer review journals and scientific conferences. Represent HEOR on cross-functional internal teams as needed. Assist in forecast and resource allocation plans as well as managing resources within budget.
  • Manage a global network of contractors, consultants, and CROs to execute planned HEOR deliverables.
