We are seeking a Head of DMPK (Associate Director to Sr Director level) for an exciting, fast-growing startup company developing novel, breakthrough RNA therapeutics. We are looking for experienced and talented DMPK group leader to support the non-clinical studies for the company's diversified programs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead DMPK teams by developing and enabling departmental strategies to evaluate Pharmacokinetics and Quantitative Translational Research including ensuring continued expansion and/or updating of training and techniques.
- Actively participate in program teams, design PKPD and TK studies, conduct the ADME/Bio-distribution experiments, perform PKPD data analysis, modeling and simulation, and present results in the program meetings.
- Organise DMPK colleagues to collaborate with vibrant research teams and provide support in all stages of DMPK assessments ensure that drug candidates with acceptable drug properties are identified and appropriately characterised and developed.
- Deliver and communicate results to project teams, provide scientific leadership, and contribute to decision making.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.
- Comprehensive understanding of drug discovery and development, the pharmaceutical industry and cutting edge DMPK-based modality platform science, technologies, and process development.
- Direct hands-on experience and strong trouble shooting skills in most in vitro and vivo DMPK studies, including PK and PK/PD analysis. Ability to gather most relevant information to facilitate human PK and dose projection. Experience with silico modeling and simulation tools is needed.
- Experience on project and people management. Ability to work strategically in a cross functional team and matrix environment.
- Ability to seek diverse input from multiple constituents and stakeholders to drive innovative solutions, and to incorporate feedback and ensure decisions are implemented swiftly to yield flawless execution.
- Identifies opportunities and anticipates changes in the business landscape through an understanding and ongoing assessment of the environment affecting the business.
- Knowledge and experience in RNA-related therapeutics and lipid delivery will be plus.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
